Night of Adventure

Images with additonal captions from my talk of 6 minutes and 40 seconds at 'Night of Adventure' in Edinburgh, June 2011.

Adventure, as the ten previous speakers had explained, is miserable, uncomfortable, and extremely expensive. But it doesn't have to be that way. I've found a form of fun that's every bit as nasty and uncomfortable as the real thing, but only costs £50.

When you're in a tent, you're still indoors. The proper way to bad hill summits is in a bag -- a bivvy bag.
